Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information VigilAI ("we", "us") collects and how it is used when you use vigilai.online, ai.vigilai.online and our related sites. VigilAI is run by Abhishek Kumar in India.

1. Files you scan

When you upload or record a voice clip, photo or video in the VigilAI detector, the file is analysed to produce a result. Some analysis steps may send image data to third-party AI services, currently Anthropic and NVIDIA, which process it under their own terms. Please do not upload files you do not have the right to share, or that contain sensitive information about other people.

2. Information we store

• Scan history: the type of scan, verdict, confidence, signal scores and time, linked to your IP address so your history can be shown when you return.
• Comments: the optional name, message and rating you submit in the comments form, which are shown publicly.
• Messages: anything you email to us.

This information is stored on our application server. It may be removed when the app restarts or is redeployed, and you can clear your own scan history inside the app with the Clear History button. We do not intentionally keep uploaded files after analysis.

3. Hosting and logs

Our websites and app are hosted by third parties (such as Vercel and Streamlit Community Cloud) who may log technical data like IP address, browser type and pages visited. Please see their privacy policies for details.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads on some pages. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before using cookies for ads.

5. Children

VigilAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

6. Your choices

You can clear your scan history in the app, and you can ask us to delete a comment or other data we hold about you by emailing abhishek@vigilai.online.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
